Can I share data with my AIS?
Yes — over NMEA 2000 the plotter broadcasts your position and reads nearby AIS targets automatically.
Are charts included?
Regional base charts ship on the device. Detailed electronic charts (C-MAP, Navionics) are a paid upgrade.
Can I update firmware?
Yes. Updates come over Wi-Fi (compatible models) or via SD card. We provide upgrade instructions.
Will it replace my paper charts?
For daily navigation, yes. Best practice is to keep a backup paper chart for primary routes.
