What buyers ask us.
What's the difference between a PLB and an EPIRB?
Same distress signal, different use. EPIRB = for the vessel, registered to the boat, often float-free from its bracket. PLB = for a person, registered to the individual, worn or in a day-pack. Both use the 406 MHz COSPAS-SARSAT network.
Do we need GMDSS?
If your vessel is over 300 GT or carries passengers commercially, yes — GMDSS compliance is required. We stock the full Lars-Thrane Iridium GMDSS stack and can coordinate the type-approved install with your yard.
Can you pre-configure devices before shipping?
Yes. NGO and government buyers can specify language pack, SIM activation, contact lists, and geo-fence rules. We pre-ship units tested and ready to deploy.
Do you support tax-exempt NGO / government invoicing?
Yes. Provide your VAT ID / tax exemption certificate in the order notes and we handle the invoicing correctly for Nordic and EU destinations.
What about rapid re-deploy kits?
